About the Client

"Bruno Linclau joined the School of Chemistry at Southampton University as a lecturer in August 1999. Research in his group focuses on synthetic methodology and its application in total synthesis. In addition, Linclau's team is developing "clean reactions" for use in combinatorial synthesis.

Design Overview

As Linclau realized over the summer of 2003, his existing website was not as sharp anymore as it should be. Out of lack of time, he had postponed dealing with this important aspect of his academic career. After sitting down one afternoon and rewriting/expanding his website content, he put in a call to Iserloh Design.

Repackaging of Linclau's existing site was fairly easy as most of the content was available from the outset. Iserloh Design offered Bruno several new designs, a new color scheme, a font set and a logo. Once Bruno made his choices, Iserloh Design put together a site in under 7 days.

During the final stages of the redesign process, we provided instruction over the phone on how Bruno would update the site himself. One of Linclau's surprised comments was on how easy it was to make updates on his own. "Iserloh Design's strength lies in putting together a great website. At the same time, they used straightforward HTML code that made it easy for me to update my site every once in a while."
