About the Client

Diagio Diamonds is the latest online diamond retailer, offering the highest-quality diamonds at the best prices. On the Diagio Diamonds web site, customers can find the educational tools to make shopping easy.

During 2005, Diagio Diamonds enlisted Iserloh Design to generate layout and design ideas. This work ultimately resulted in a dozen templates, a logo and stationary. Subsequently, Diagio's staff added content to the more than 3000 pages of the site. In the spring of 2006, Iserloh Design was brought back in to correct remaining design and layout issues caused by unanticipated content formats.

Design Overview

During the entire project, Iserloh Design assisted Diagio Diamonds and the rest of the development team with critical expertise in web design & technology, usability, marketing, trademarking and project management. While interfacing with the team, Iserloh Design emphasized solid project management by managing workflow in an organized, logical manner. These strategies proved crucial for successful completion of this large and complex project.

The entire site was built based on current web-standards, and heavily relies on CSS for styling information. In addition, project revisions were handled through an SVN repository, allowing different team members to work side-by-side, avoiding overwriting preexisting files.
